The Mixed Tournament. Results

The first mixed submission grappling tournament took place in our club. Two guys ( Electric and Alexander) and one girl (Tais) participated in the competition. The tournament was organized in three circles.



In the center of the photo – Tais (Namazon Club, St.Petersburg) , on the right – Alexander (Moscow) , left – Electric (Namazon Club, St.Petersburg).

The First Сircle

All the men were motivated only to win. Our mat was small for such fight. Sometimes we regretted that we did not have a judge on the mat. It was expected that the fight will be hard.
From the results of the first circle, we note the unexpected defeat of Tais. Tais was one of the favorites of the tournament.

So,
Alexander Vs Electric – 0 : 1
Electric Vs Tais – 0 : 1
Alexander Vs Tais – 1 : 0

After the first circle all competitors had one victory.

The Second Circle

Among matches of the second circle we may note match Electric Vs Alexander. Electric confidently won. The fight Electric and Tais was very hard and has not determined the winner. Tais had defeated Alexander.

Alexander Vs Electric – 0 : 2
Electric Vs Tais – 0,5 : 1,5
Alexander Vs Tais – 1 : 1

The Third Circle

The third circle was similar to the second. Participants of the tournament were tired. Electric and Tais beat Alexander but they were unable to define the winner in a fight with each other.

Results, after the third round, …. Electric and Tais had three wins, Alexander - one.

Alexander Vs Electric – 0:3
Electric Vs Tais – 1:2
Alexander Vs Tais – 1:2

The winner of our competition has not been defined.
The First and second place shared Electric and Tais ... .

Electric Vs Tais. Round 2 is the most interesting clip. They used "scissors" against each other.
